About Us
Our Story
Perfectly Pawlished was founded in 2017 by Royiesa Williams, whose passion for animals began long before the business did. Growing up surrounded by farm animals, dogs, and cats, Royiesa developed a natural love for caring for pets. In 2012, she began working in a dog grooming salon as a bather, eventually training to become a professional groomer.
While working in traditional salons, she noticed a recurring problem: many dogs arrived nervous and stressed, while pet parents felt uncertain about why the grooming process seemed difficult. Royiesa recognized that what was missing was patience, connection, and transparency.
Determined to make a change, she launched Perfectly Pawlished with a focus on house call grooming—bringing the grooming experience into the comfort of the pet’s own home. Pet parents immediately shared how much they appreciated this approach, as it allowed them to stay involved and made the grooming process more enjoyable for their pets.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, house call grooming became even more valuable. With more families working from home and managing remote learning, Perfectly Pawlished offered a safe, stress-free solution. Today, we’re proud to serve families across the Fort Lauderdale area, helping pets feel calm and cared for while giving owners peace of mind.
What is Housecall Grooming?
House call grooming means we bring the spa to you. We set up inside your home, where your pup feels most comfortable and relaxed. Perfectly Pawlished is fully self-sufficient—we bring everything needed, from towels to tables, to create a professional grooming experience.
The only things we ask from pet parents are:
- A location to bathe your pet (such as a bathtub or utility sink)
- A space near an outlet where we can set up our equipment
This setup ensures a convenient, transparent, and stress-free grooming experience for both you and your furry family member.
